Workers Compensation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defending clients in workers' compensation claims, providing legal advice, and representing clients in administrative hearings and court. The attorney will work closely with clients to ensure their rights are protected while managing complex cases from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defend clients in workers' compensation claims and legal proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on their rights and obligations under workers' compensation laws.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, related to workers' compensation cases.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings and Superior Court appearances as necessary.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on current laws and regulations related to workers' compensation.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Assist in the development of legal strategies tailored to each client's needs.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Good standing with the Bar. 
  • Must be located in CA.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
  • Experience in subrogation, trial work, and/ or Superior Court appearances is a plus.
