Market Development Manager

Position Overview
The Market Expansion Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and enhancing company presence within the food and beverage packaging sector. This role involves analyzing market trends, defining product strategies, and implementing sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

 

**This role is 100% remote, but, there is periodic strategy meeting travel required to New Jersey.***

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to drive growth
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product development and marketing strategies
  • Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in market development or business development
  • Proven experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and execution
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and analyze data
  • Proficient in sales strategy development and execution
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
