Sr. FPGA Design Engineer - FPGA Prototyping, Xilinx/AMD
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. FPGA SoC Prototyping Engineer to develop and optimize FPGA-based prototypes for SoC Validation. You will be responsible for FPGA synthesis, timing closure and system integration, enabling pre-silicon verification, and legacy block RTL update.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement FPGA prototypes using Xilinx/AMD technology.
- Conduct synthesis and timing analysis to meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain Verilog and SystemVerilog code for FPGA applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate designs and ensure system integration.
- Utilize PCIe and Ethernet switch technologies in design and prototyping tasks.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of FPGA implementations to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and prototyping.
- Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog for hardware description.
- Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of synthesis and timing analysis methodologies.
- Familiarity with PCIe and/or Ethernet switching protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
