Job Opportunity: Senior Tax Attorney or Tax Partner

Location: Boston, MA or Manchester, NH (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility)

Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000+ Base Salary with additional bonuses, PTO, 401k Matching and other Comprehensive Benefits.

Position Overview: We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Senior Tax Attorney/Partner with over 15-20+ years of expertise in Tax Law. This role calls for a leader with a portable book of business to join our esteemed tax practice. If you have a strategic mind and an extensive background in tax advisory services, corporate tax, commercial transactions, mergers, and acquisitions, you might be the perfect fit for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on the tax implications, risks, and opportunities for various business entity structures and activities.
Address tax controversy matters effectively.
Handle individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of complex commercial transactions.
Structure mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing.
Advise on employee compensation and benefits.
Draft related memoranda and documents for diverse industries.

Qualifications:

20+ years of extensive experience in tax law.
Strong leadership skills.
Established portable book of business
Proven experience with individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of complex commercial transactions.
Expertise in structuring mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing.
Knowledge of employee compensation and benefits.
Strong drafting skills for related memoranda and documents across various industries.
Experience in affordable housing tax credit issues, sales and use tax, estate planning, and qualified plans is a plus but not required.
