Since 1999, we have been a pioneer in designing and manufacturing mission-critical rubber components. Through decades of innovation, our team has produced an extensive product line. Due to an increased influx of business, we are looking for a Rubber Molding Engineer. This is a Full Time, On-Site position.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Rubber Molding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing rubber molding processes to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of polymer materials and engineering principles as well as experience in injection molding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop rubber molding processes to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct experiments and analyses to improve molding parameters and reduce production costs.
  • Utilize CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, to create and modify engineering designs and specifications.
  • Perform Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) and Design for Assembly (DFA) assessments to enhance product reliability.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in rubber molding technologies and materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in rubber molding or polymer engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for designing and modeling components.
  • Familiarity with Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
