Title: Refrigeration Manager - HVAC/Food Manufacturing

Salary: $105,000-$110,000/Year + Bonus/Relocation
What You Will Be Doing
The Refrigeration Manager ideally will be highly involved in the PSM/RMP programs to help ensure we maintain compliance with USDA, OSHA, EPA, and DHS regulations. The Refrigeration Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of the ammonia refrigeration system and with the assistance of others ensure that we are always in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as operating safely and efficiently. The Refrigeration Manager is also responsible for on-the-job training of his/her refrigeration operators and fostering excellent working relationships and coaching and mentoring of his/her operators.
Compressed Air Systems: The facility has several hundred horsepower worth of air compressors, desiccant dryers, as well as refrigerated dryers and storage tanks throughout the facility. In addition, compressed air also supplies a steady stream of air to production equipment. Compressed air is a big commodity at our facility and the Refrigeration Manager will oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of these systems while training the Refrigeration Operators on the Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair, and Operation of the compressed air systems.
Mechanical Integrity Management: The written plan for the Mechanical Integrity of the PSM covered process will be adhered to. The Refrigeration Manager is responsible for helping ensure PM compliance and will work closely with the PSM Coordinator to help drive proper work schedules, PM and Inspection Procedures, etc. The Refrigeration Manager will audit completed PM's to ensure not only that the maintenance plan is being followed, but to also continuously monitor Time Based Standard Work of the Refrigeration Operators and ensure that the work was completed as signed off on by the Operators.
