Based in Concord, we are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in the grocery store sector. We are a leader in the construction industry, and have offices in the Bay area and Los Angeles. We are looking for a Project Engineer in the bay area to help serve our clients in Northern California. Our clients mainly serve in the grocery space, and we also do refrigeration upgrades as well! Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in the grocery store sector to manage and oversee construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional results in grocery store construction and renovations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple grocery store construction projects from inception to completion
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project specifications
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management
Assist in the procurement of materials and liaise with vendors in the grocery sector
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably in the grocery store sector
Strong knowledge of grocery store operations and layout design
Proficient in project management software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with safety regulations and construction codes
