Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney to join us in our Houston office. The ideal candidate will have experience in general commercial or commercial construction litigation. In this role you assist in representing clients in various litigation matters, providing comprehensive legal support through all phases of the process. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all stages of litigation, including trial preparation and post-trial activities.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
  • Draft and review contracts and other business-related documents.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage discovery process, including document review and production.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice in the state of TX
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation-  business or real estate experience is a plus
  • Must have courtroom experience- 1st or 2nd chair preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and manage client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
