- Flexible Work schedule: REMOTE, Hybrid, OR In-Office (depends on candidate's experience / preference)
- Base Salary is flexible, general range is $150-195k base Depending on candidate's Experience
- + additional production bonus opportunity up to $45,000 per year (paid quarterly)
- Possible Total Compensation Opportunity is generally approx ~$150-235k annually
Key Responsibilities
- Manage caseload and prepare cases for trial, including drafting pleadings and motions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to construction defect and general liability cases.
- Manage case files, document discovery, and maintain meticulous records of case progress.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and settlement agreements.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case status.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
- Stay updated on legal developments and changes in law relevant to premises liability and catastrophic injury cases.
Qualifications
- JD
- Passed CA bar
- 5+ years of experience in Civil Litigation for Insurance Defense
- Proven track record of experience in Depositions, Motions
- Trial experience is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Defense side experience specializing in any of the following: Construction Defect, General Liability, Premises Liability, Automotive, Habitability, Catastrophic Injury
