Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Designer to develop and implement fire protection systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards while providing innovative design solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design fire protection systems including sprinklers, alarms, and other life safety systems
Utilize AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK software to create detailed and accurate design drawings
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection systems into building designs
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather information for design
Prepare calculations and documentation to support design intent and compliance with codes
Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fire protection

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in fire protection system design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK software
Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection engineering principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
