Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes, particularly in utilities and underground projects, including fiber optic installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all phases of construction.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of materials and services.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with utilities and underground projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Familiarity with fiber optic installation and related technologies is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is preferred.
