Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing drywall projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage drywall installation projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Review blueprints and plans to provide accurate cost estimations and resource allocation.
Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Implement problem-solving strategies to address project challenges and delays.
Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction, specifically with drywall projects.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and safety standards.
Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and quality control processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Prior experience with Acoustic Ceiling and Tenant Improvement projects is a plus.
