Audit Senior

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing high-quality assurance services to our clients, particularly in the non-profit and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members during audits and provide guidance on best practices.
Review and analyze clients' financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor audit processes accordingly.
Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure that all audits are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Assist in the development of audit strategies and methodologies.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably within public accounting firms.
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant regulations.
Experience working with non-profit and government clients is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
