Our company specializes in tax services, business consulting, accounting, assurance, and analytics - within diverse industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate. We are growing and looking to add an Audit Manager to the mixture.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our audit team and ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients. The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, managing client relationships, and providing valuable insights to improve our clients' financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career development.
Review audit workpapers and financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
Identify areas for improvement in client financial processes and provide actionable recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact audit practices.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit.
Proven experience in managing audit teams and engagements.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, nonprofit sectors, or for-profit organizations is a plus.
Familiarity with 401K plans and Employee Benefit Plans (EPB) is a plus.
