Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in representing clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal counsel and support throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on personal injury cases
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents
  • Participate in depositions and court appearances
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
  • Prepare cases for trial, including developing trial strategies
  • Work closely with clients to keep them informed of case progress
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Stay current on legal developments in personal injury law

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Illinois Bar License
  • 3+ years of experience in personal injury law or related field
  • Strong litigation skills (trial experience preferred)
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software
  • Strong negotiation and client management skills

Pay/Benefits
