Established (40+ Years) AM Law 200 Firm Seeking Employment Litigation Associate - Marin/Sausalito, CA
An established AM Law 200 firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-7+ years of experience to join its employment litigation team in Marin/Sausalito. This Associate will focus on defending single-plaintiff employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. The ideal candidate has strong litigation skills and is confident handling cases proactively from intake through resolution.
Offer:
Competitive salary based on experience ($115,000-$170,000+)
Monthly and year-end performance bonuses
Profit sharing (10% of total compensation)

Qualifications:
3-7+ years of experience in single-plaintiff employment litigation
Admitted to practice law in the State of California and in good standing
Experience defending harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims in state and federal court
Familiarity with proceedings before the CRD, EEOC, and California Labor Commissioner
Proficient in handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Experience attending mediations, preparing case evaluations, and representing clients in court
Strong legal writing, research, and case strategy skills
Arbitration or trial experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Manage single-plaintiff employment cases from intake through resolution
Handle written discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice
Defend complaints and charges filed with administrative agencies
Prepare case assessments and advise clients on litigation strategy
Attend mediations, hearings, and court conferences
Draft mediation briefs, arbitration motions, and dispositive motions
Collaborate with internal teams and clients for efficient case handling
