Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will focus on various aspects of civil litigation, including insurance subrogation, product liability, and mass tort cases. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases while developing professionally in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the management of civil litigation cases from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court appearances and hearings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to insurance defense and personal injury
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
Prepare for and attend trials as necessary

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the State of Virginia
Experience in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred
Strong knowledge of insurance subrogation, catastrophic loss, product liability, and mass tort
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice
