Position Overview
The Assistant Superintendent will support the project management team in overseeing construction operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage on-site activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in all aspects of project management and site operations.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor construction progress and report on any issues or delays to the Superintendent.
Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations on site.
Participate in project meetings and assist in the preparation of progress reports.
Help manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of site activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Assistant Superintendent in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience in heavy civil construction, particularly in water infrastructure, roadways, bridges, and excavation is a plus.
Familiarity with wastewater management projects will be an added advantage.
