We've spent the last 40 years becoming a versatile architecture and engineering (A/E) firm offering comprehensive services in architecture, civil, environmental, transportation, and construction monitoring. With offices in Buffalo, Rochester, and New York City, our interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and community builders collaborates closely with clients to create lasting and meaningful designs.

In this role, you'll collaborate directly with clients, lead design teams, and drive architectural projects from concept through to successful completion. For the right candidate, there is room for growth and the ability for this position to carve its own path going forward. This position can be based in either our Buffalo or Rochester office, offering flexibility to applicants in both locations. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • NYS Professional Architect License is a plus
  • Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience with public-sector work including industrial, commercial and educational sectors
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and the architectural process, from design to construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Clients and Stakeholders to understand expectations, develop the design, and implement construction documents in a timely manner
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Oversee an inter-disciplinary team including internal staff and external subconsultants
  • Maintain dynamic communications with clients, staff, consultants, and contractors
    Oversee the development of contract documents, perform quality reviews and coordinate the work with each discipline for comprehensive project delivery
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their technical skills
  • Prepare construction document packages independently
