AI/ML Data Scientist (VP) - Investment Banking/Capital Markets

Job Title: Applied AI/ML Data Scientist (VP)

Location: New York City (onsite 5 days)

Skills: MUST have strong background in investment banking and/or capital markets

Compensation: Total package $275-325k.  (Base 200-235k + bonus)

What You Will Be Doing

You'll work on projects involving Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, and Classification Models, leveraging the latest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced machine learning techniques. Your work will span from building production-grade ML solutions to uncovering insights from complex datasets and presenting them through compelling visualizations and storytelling.
 

• Apply AI and analytics to modernize investment banking tools and strategies.
• Build and deploy ML models using Python and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and PySpark.
• Use both statistical and machine learning methods to solve capital markets problems.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
   

What You Need For The Position

• Masters or PhD in relevant field
• MUST have 5+ years experience with investment banking and/or capital markets
• 7+ yrs experience as a Data Scientist
• 7+ years building and deploying ML solutions into production
• Strong coding skills with Python and related libraries (PySpark, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas etc...)
